OEI Equipment was a regional strength equipment manufacturer based out of Medford, MN that operated from the late 1970s through the early-to-mid 1990s. The company produced heavy-duty commercial gym equipment that became a common sight in high schools, colleges, athletic facilities, and gyms throughout the Upper Midwest. After shutting down in the 1990s, OEI equipment remained in use for decades due to its durability. Today, many of the company’s machines are still found in training facilities and private collections.
