10" Rackable Strongman Log Bar

First off, I don't compete, so this was a purchase just to try something new and I've really enjoyed using it. As a just-for-fun implement, it works great. However, the rack feature as many have already stated, is something I would stay away from. It beat my Rogue uprights up pretty bad and left a lot of exposed metal. The knurling on the handles is laughable. They're smooth as butter. It hasn't been a big issue, but once you're overhead that's a lingering thought. The edges around the handles are really sharp, so often times Im left with bruises around the contact point on my forearm. When I first unpacked it, I was blown away by the glitter bomb of metal debris that was in the box and on the log. It took a long time to clean up the mess and with dogs in the house that was a real concern for their paws. Lastly, I would suggest taping it at the center. With minimal knurling, it really helps with the clean. I'd recommend this for someone looking to add it to their gym without breaking bank, because the next option is much more expensive, but if you have the money, buy something else.

We have the 10” log in our gym and it serves its purpose. I can see where you might not choose this log for a commercial gym setting. That being said for the home gym user you cannot find a more affordable option. The handles feels great and for what you’re paying the build quality is good. I’m not a fan of the rackable feature. Most times if you’re racking a log you would use spotter arm or something of that sort anyhow.

It's an expensive and effective log - though at 10" you will not see it in competition as a male strongman, though perhaps in the odd novice classes. That being said, I find it rackable just fine on my Titan T-2 2x2 rack though others mention it does not rack well on other power racks. I like it because you can beat it up and not feel to bad about it.

It’s hard for me to complain since I pick mine up on market place for $50. But had I paid full price, I’d be very disappointed. Both sleeves are significantly bent even though I’ve only ever dropped it on crash pads (and I don’t just throw the log from the overhead position) the “rackable” feature is also questionable since it’s construction makes it fit extremely tight on my Rep PR-5000 with the spotter safeties and the drop in safeties (see picture)

I added this piece after having the 12" log and wanting to give the ladies an option. It has worked great especially for the price!

It works fine as a 10” log. The handles are a larger diameter than most other logs. The description as “rackable” is generous depending on your setup. It is barely rackable on a Rep PR-4000. I’ve beat mine up and it’s been used in a competition with no major issues, just some minor powder coat chipping on the weight horns. I really don’t care for the log compared to others and will replace it eventually, but it’s cheap and does the job.

I don't own one but have used them at gyms I've been to. They are priced extremely well and Titan doesn't charge shipping, so they're very appealing to a lot of people, especially this model being rackable. That being said, I've seen multiple of these across multiple gyms with the same issues. They tend to oxidize more than other logs and with these extended rackable sleeves and poor welds they're more likely to bend/break in these areas. For home use as long as you're aware it shouldn't be as much of an issue, but it speaks to the build quality.

This log will get the job done, but it will come packaged like shit! I do see minor imperfections and the welds aren’t the greatest but for the price (especially when on sale) it will get you everything you need. I will say the rackablility is questionable but again, for the price, it’s not a bad buy.
