Atlas Stone Return Ramp
The Atlas Stone Return Ramp is designed to cushion a stone that is dropped from over a bar or yoke and slowly return the stone to its original position. Historically this exercise has been done in several movements individually or with a training partner that would guide the stone down and roll it back to you. The idea was originally based on a design by world renowned gym owner Alan Thrall who we worked in conjunction with to bring you what you see here.

Super convenient and a great idea. It says it has a weight capacity around 300 but we have used it with as much as 405lb and worked great

I went about several DIY options before getting this. None of the DIY methods really worked well at securing the stone or other Loadable without it bouncing in a non desirable direction half the time. This not only made it a pain to have to pull the item back to position, but also meant I was worried about what in my gym it could hit (since I have a small closed in space). This pad fixed that problem and was worth the price tag. If you use tacky then it does stick to the pad. I put a stall mat or other kind of covering over it. I don’t think there is much the company could do to assist with this so just be aware if you plan to use this for tacky and non tacky objects.
