The Black Competition Bumper Plates (LB) bring the same competition-grade precision as our color-coded Competition Bumper Plates in a matte finish, so you can dial up your blacked-out setup. Like every REP competition bumper, they're built for Olympic weightlifting and high-rep, HIIT-style training, where you regularly drop the barbell from overhead or shoulder height. That makes them a fit for cross training boxes, high school and college weight rooms, and any facility running back-to-back classes on the same set of plates all day. These bumpers feature a low-bounce compound and a reinforced, zinc-coated steel disc insert to disperse and absorb impact better than standard bumpers.
