I have not really used trap bars much but the hoe gym store in town had this on a discount for going out of business sale and I had to pick it up. Overall it’s a great bar, I love the handles and the loading design. The fixed sleeves are solid. The Knurling is great, not overly aggressive but not passive. I’ve used this for farmers, lunges, dead’s, Bulgarians, even used it for zerchers. Biggest complaint is storage. The weight horn is attached to a large square plate that’s bolted to the carriage which can get in the way and adds unnecessary width. I originally was going to try storing this magnetically on the wall but at 67 pounds this thing is a beast to store up over head. As for now it lives on my floor and would love any suggestions! Overall it’s a great option if you’re in the market for a open trap bar and you can pick this one up local instead of waiting on shipping I’d do it.

I love the handles, I love the weight (67 lbs), I love the chrome sleeves, and most of all I love the price. This price sits above the amazon junk, but under the Bells of Steel and Giant trap bars. It does exactly what its meant to do besides spinning sleeves. It would be the best on the market if it was balanced or if you could buy fat handles to replace the stock ones. I just stick a yoga block under the one side to keep it level.

You get what you pay for with this piece. Knurled handle are passive. The weight is not balanced. That said it works fine as a trap bar and it's easy to load.
