This is an outstanding bar! The knurling and whip are great. I purchased after watching Carp's gyms review of it. Needless to say he didn't steer me wrong.

Pretty great bang for your buck option when it comes to a deadlift bar. $269, stainless steel and you can even find a couple discount codes to save you another 10% or so. The knurling is solid & there’s a good amount of whip. Not exactly a necessity to have a deadlift bar, so it’s nice when the barrier to entry is at an affordable price-point & performs well.

I've used all the best deadlift bars, The American Barbell Il Padrino, the OG Kabuki PR Deadlift bar, The Texas DL bar, the Rogue Ohio DL bar, and this one is by far THE BEST (for the price). When you factor in the price tag of $269 (at the time of this review) and the fact that the Il Padrino is NEVER in stock and $700+, the Kabuki is discontinued and was $700+, I can safely say that this is the best Deadlift bar option on the market right now. In terms of whip and knurling, it feels most similar to the Kabuki. It has noticeably more whip than both the Texas and Rogue options and with a stainless shaft at under $300, I think this bar is a no brainer. If you want American made, go with the Texas. The Rogue is the stiffest of all the deadlift bars I've used. But I genuinely prefer the Loeft over both the Rogue and Texas, regardless of price.

This is Probably THE BEST Deadlift you can buy for the Money currently in 2026. It’s $269 in March 2026 which is a STEAL for a well made stainless steel deadlift bar. The only other stainless steel deadlift bar that I’m aware of currently is the IL Padrino by American Barbell and that’s over $1000 shipped to me. Definitely seems well made and well manufactured has a nice aggressive Knurling similar to Kabuki and Texas power bars 27mm shaft. It’s about an inch and a half shorter than a Texas bar, but I believe it has more whip possibly due to the stainless steel and longer sleeves shoulders. We tested it here up to at least 765 pounds from the floor and with waggon wheels and it performed well. Mine is in stainless steel but I have owned their squat Bar in Cerakote finish and the Cerakote is well done as well so don’t be afraid of the Cerakote option as well.

This is an awesome bar for the budget gym that hits above its price. It’s a dedicated DL bar that has good whip and very aggressive knurling.
