For the price and quality, these urethane-coated plates are hard to beat. They’re incredibly easy to move and handle. I had all bumper plates for years but recently bought these to use exclusively with my rack while keeping the bumpers for my plate-loaded machines and lifts from the ground. I definitely didn’t need them but now that I have them I really love these plates. You still get that satisfying plate-on-plate sound that a lot of lifters love without it being as aggressive as steel plates. My wife lifts a lot less weight than I do so the smaller and lighter plates are much easier for her to handle. That’s made these even more enjoyable for both of us and honestly made the purchase that much sweeter. Highly recommend these. If I were starting over with no plates at all I’d go all in with these.

Excellent. I have 45s, 25s, 10s, and 2.5s, all urethane-coated, and they're the plates I reach for first. Quality, fit, and finish are all high. They load cleanly, they don't chew up sleeves, and the sound and feel when they seat on the Smith attachment weight horns or on an Alpine bar sleeve is a genuine quality-of-life detail. If you're buying once, buy these.

I knew I wanted plates with grips. I got mine on a FBMP deal that couldn't be beat. I then added to my collection buying from REP at Home Gym Con. These things are very nice and easy to grip.

What can I say, you can really go wrong with these plates. Hell they are urethane. No issues at all on these.

These plates are such a nice upgrade for those trying to get that commercial gym feel. These, and weight it out plates replaced my cheap, walmart bumper plates, which served me well for years, but were annoying to load/unload, especially the 45s. They feel premium in hand, and I find the hole placement and size to be convenient for moving around easily. I do think there are better value options, but this is definitely a top tier choice for urethane in the home gym, if that's what you really want. I feel they were worth my money and I would purchase again!

These plates are super nice and love the feel of the urethane coating. Easy to grab and work really well if I need to mix and match with bumpers. The one negative I want to call it is that they are not perfectly flat on the outer edge. There is a subtle seam or something on the outer edge of the plates means the 45s don't stand up by themselves.

Nobody needs urethane-coated plates this nice… but once you use them, regular plates feel like peasant equipment. They look incredible, feel premium, and the urethane coating makes me feel way more sophisticated than I actually am while loading a barbell in my garage. The built-in handles are legitimately awesome — moving plates around no longer feels like wrestling manhole covers. The 45s also double as elite farmer’s carry implements, so technically I’m getting cardio equipment too. That’s how I justify the price to myself anyway. Fair warning: buying one pair “just to try them” is how you accidentally end up collecting every size.

I already had a set of bumper plates when I bought a set of these. They're great. The key feature is the holes that make them easy to handle. Overall they have all the advantages of iron plates over bumpers, with the bonus that the urethane deadens the sound a bit and keeps them from being unpleasant to handle in the winter. I expect that they'll do better over time in my gym, which has no climate control. If I were going to invest in more plates, I'd just keep buying more of these.

Equalizers are widely considered the best-in-class for grip plates due to their six-hole "honeycomb" design, which makes them exceptionally easy to handle for both loading and plate-only exercises.

I love these plates. They are easy to grab, made of great material, don’t clank (if you need a quiet workout or just hate the noise, and probably most importantly for me- they are the best option for not freezing your hands off with typical metal plates. I workout in a shed in Idaho, so these are much nicer to my hands when it’s cold outside. People say weight is weight, but for me I interact with plates every workout and my wife was all in so it made it even easier. They are definitely expensive- very extra! Also, when I first got them there were some minor flaws so Rep let me keep the plates and sent me extra plates. Customer service is awesome and they are my favorite plates I’ve used. Disclaimer that they are not American made, but I don’t think there are urethane plates made in the states.
