I-Beam Pull-up Bar
f you want to have a strong grip, train your fingers. Yes, if you have to wrap your hands around a barbell, implement or opponent and your grip is not as strong as possible, you create an energy leak that will not allow an optimal performance. For years I trained in a basement and performed all of my pull-ups on an I-Beam. The result was a crushing grip that never failed. After a few years away from this exercise, grip issues began to arise. Shortly after reintroducing I-Beam work, my grip improved and it’s still holding steady with 200+ more pounds on the barbell. Our I-Beam Pull-up Bars are designed to be placed over an existing pull-up bar with heavy-duty 3/8” hooks and are secured with a bolt.
