With the disclaimer that bar preference is subjective, out of the Ohio power bar, Texas power bar, and kabuki, the kabuki is by far my favorite. The knurling grips so much better than the others because of the denser TPI, without the need of super sharp peaks.

I feel like all my reviews for Kabuki products will be similar. It seems all their products have a consistent high quality to them all the way from transformer bar to shoulder rok. The power bar is great and all but I can’t and won’t say it’s better than a TPB.

The nickel bar is what stands out most to me for this bar. Such a great look and feel. The other finishes also feel great, but its just a power bar with an aggressive knurl. The argo 2x is what you can still buy and will feel as good as most of these bars. Not high up on my recommendation list, but high on my personal list of bars what I would get to replace my power bar.

My least favorite kabuki bar, it’s a good power bar but in my experience it’s doesn’t stand out about it’s competitors like some of their other bars do. Purchased new in 2022

I have an electroless nickel bar from 2016. I had to have it replaced within 6 months b/c the plating was not done well and the bar was rusting underneath. The bar they replaced it with has held up fantastic however in the last 9 years of use. Kabuki went through a bunch of issues in quality control especially with their nickel, so even though I don't use this bar a ton, I've held on to it b/c it's a good copy. The best thing about this bar is the knurling, it's high TPI and extremely grippy. I like the addition of a center knurl mark as well as its pressed end caps. Where this bar failed was in a few areas, it's a very loud bar, it's over priced, and it's over marketed.
