Got this bar from an old college completely rusted over to the point the sleeves couldn't move. Took a month of vinegar soaks and brushing to get it back to life, but love the bar. May just not know any better, but going to keep this bar for life and I use it as my primary bar.

Once you’re used to 29 mm the thinner diameter does feel different. I keep this for the nostalgia. Not my preferred barbell.

I believe the one I have is bare steel. I really love this bar. It is old school and has the 3 rings. I bought this from Big John Roy when he moved out of Western North East South Dakota. The knurling is great, it is strong but not too aggressive. I love doing deadlifts with this bar, they feel amazing. The top barbell in the picture is the Ivanko
