I’m also about 3-4k into my smart arm setup but for a piece I use every workout it has quickly become an essential piece for me. Both the upper body and lower body movements feel great, and if you like tinkering you will be able to come up with a couple extra exercises that prime doesn’t advertise.

You can do lots of exercises using customized strength curves, but the issue is that you’re buying into an ecosystem when you buy the Smart Arm. You need to have the Shorty Bench along with all of the attachments for the shorty bench in order to maximize your investment. The $1500 Smart Arm quickly turns into over $4000 if you go all in. This is certainly a premium product that most will never consider because of that. If you take the plunge, you are getting a well built, great performing piece. I mainly use this for leg extensions, leg curls and preacher curls. This machine is fantastic for all of them and has taken my training to the next level for those exercises. The Smart Arm even has a hole on the bottom of the arm for a cable or Voltra to attach. I can’t truly recommend this to anyone unless I know they have disposable income and I know they would love the novelty of this product.
