These are a good option for either doing a much thicker flooring or putting on top of the floor for a deadlift platform. If using for a platform it is a solid rubber and bounces less than expected. Biggest issue is that they are 3.2'x3.2" so if you are deadlifting more than 6 plates per side, they can start to not be on the platform.
