Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbell System

We have cast iron hex dumbbells up to 75 and use the ironmasters as the heavy set. They're a bit tedious to adjust but they're rock solid and probably some of the least bulky heavy adjustable dumbbells. Very versatile too if you consider the rest of the ironmaster accessories and machines.

I love my Ironmaster dumbbells. The quality of these dumbbells are amazing. They are heavy duty, feel natural in my hand, and save a ton of space. I'm not into supersetting or need to quicky change the weights, but if I do, changing the weights takes like 30 seconds. Again, I am so glad I got this. Pro Tip: Get the Heavy Handle Kit, its totally worth it.

Tried and True adjustable dumbbells. They are about as durable as you can get. I have had them for about 15 years and counting and they work as good as the day I got them. I would love a little more aggressive knurling, or maybe a new handle version with fat grip handles. The only real knock on them is the speed to change the weights. Which isn't that bad once you get used to them.

I bought these used when Reppins were coming out for a screaming deal, so that colors my review a bit. Heavy handles make these a great dumbbell and I have added the micro plates and 180 pound increase. I don't do much drop sets and am surprised so much of the community seems to be enamored with not only drop sets but drop sets where you have zero time to switch weights. One thing that's often glossed over is you do not need to put these in a cradle to change weights, you can just pop out the screws wherever you are and drop the weight. One other usage I enjoy with them is that you can load a single side which makes dumbell overhead extensions feel amazing as you load the bottom only.

I owned the Ironmaster dumbbells with the heavy handle kit for a couple of years. These things are built like a tank and have the feel of a regular dumbbell which I really liked. With the heavy handle kit they seemed to be perfectly balanced in use. I liked the square design. These won't roll away. The knurling is also good. There are no plastic parts and get 5 stars on build quality without a doubt. They do take a minute, probably more like 30ish seconds to switch weight which I found to be annoying. This is the main reason I got rid of these and switched to a full set of dumbbells. Supersets and drop sets weren't a thing when I had these. If you're limited on space, want something durable, and don't mind the time it takes to change the weight, these would fit the bill and would be a good option.

If you’re willing to do your part, they won’t let you down and there is nothing you can do to them they won’t be ready for. The first, and very beginning of my investment in real home gym equipment, these have been with me, on my strength journey, since 2010 and are my longest serving piece of home gym equipment. Like anyone of us who has lifted for decades, they have taken on a patina of strength well. They have been beaten, chipped and marred as they moved through life, 1 rep at a time. Look too close and they reveal their scars, but take a step back and understand what they, like old lifters, have been through, and they remain solid, resilient and are now forged by strength. They remain a favourite metaphor and symbol of strength within the gym, remind me often why I workout and they will be with me for as long as I’m able to lift them. Iron master indeed.

I've used several other brands and they all rattle or make some sort of noise. These are rock solid. Changing the weight is slower but I have it down to less than 30 seconds. I use these for 55lb+ and fixed for 5-50lb.

Huge fan of these. The robustness of them compared to almost all other adjustable dumbbells, offsets the common complaint about time taken to change the loading. They're the closest your going to get in my opinion, to an adjustable Dumbbell feeling like a fixed option. One slight grumble would be the length of the handle being a little bigger than a normal DB and also they are pricey, especially if your getting the add on kit. Even so, these are by far my favourite adjustable dumbbell set i've used.

Not quick changing between weights but great feel and build quality is top notch.

These are high quality dumbbells, but changing weights is tedious. The high quality options of today didn't exist when I bought these, and I'd look for a quicker option if I had to do it all over again.
