Roller Footplate

Holy cow this thing is heavy - way too heavy to be moving around all the time. There’s no good place to hold it and at 35 pounds it’s very awkward to place - if they made it out of aluminum that would work much better. The pads are okay; I don’t care for the ends because it looks like the cover was a generic tube and they forced it to work - I have a feeling the stitching will suffer over time. The adjustments have good angles but the pivot pin is a bit loose and rattles whenever you look at it funny and there’s enough wobble to make it slightly sketchy as a step to put the cables through the lat pull arm. The last issue is that the swivel point is such that you need to move it on the rack to go from a lat pull leg holder to the footplate for rows - if you just pivot it down the footplate is way too high off the bench. That honestly defeats the whole point of the thing and I prefer using just the rollers through the rack (sitting on the floor) rather than the footplate+bench since it’s so unwieldy. Lastly I have no idea where I’m going to store this thing since I don’t want it on the floor but it’s way too heavy to put anywhere else since there’s no good way to secure it anywhere but the rack - which I need to keep clear for everything else.
