While I like these dumbbells quite a lot, were it not for the fact that I got them for free through a friend, I probably wouldn't have them at all. The main reason for this is that there isn't much to distinguish them from the Cap versions you can find at Walmart, but Fringe charges a premium for these dumbells, so it's hard to justify purchasing them at retail prices. As the ancient philosophers used to say, "weight is weight", so I'd recommend purchasing the least expensive alternative that allows you to safely accomplish your goals.
