I think this product may just not be for me, so take this with a grain of salt.
I don't particularly like the SSB style squat with soft straps vs a rigid handle.
It's very well made, just like everything Spud Inc. makes, and design seems really strong.
There is a lot of easy horizontal movement possible, but I don't know how you address that from a manufacturing standpoint. It's not a problem when actually squatting, but I'll have to re-center the straps every set. Could just be an OCD issue on my part π.
It's $80, so not cheap, but a hell of a deal for an SSB movement if this works for you.
