Always have something in your gym just outside of your reach, or something very far outside your reach. Thats what my 350lb bag I’ve made out from an old zip up duffle bag someone tossed my way. The make up of this bag are 2 heavy duty trash bags, a couple of zip ties, and a lot of duct tape. It is a fat, dense, log of sand. I left the handles on it, but I’m afraid they’re not going to survive. As of now I’ve used it 2 or 3 times for a silly little Between the legs deadlift. Eventually, I will get it to my shoulder. It’s either this bag or myself that will break.

This was an early piece of home gym equipment for me and it remarkably versatile. I would use it for cleans, walking lunges, press to overhead and that exercise where you hold a plank and drag it across. Brute Force was an amazing local company when I bought this in 2016. Now there are several manufacturer's. Since I have bought more barbells and other implements, this does not see as much action, but could be thrown in the car if I wanted to add load to an otherwise bodyweight workout.

I've used these off and on for a while, making the biggest one up to 225 pounds. Even with a few brand bags now, still like to use this to fill in the gaps. Biggest downside is that when it's not filled to capacity it's difficult to build it in a way that it stays stiff/full and doesn't become floppy.
