There are a million adjustable benches out there but if you're looking at USA made options I think this one is the best. I don't have any attachments for this bench (other than the optional kit to make the bench stand up), but the ease of moving it around and the ability to take off the headrest for various movements makes it top notch.
One caveat, I also have a flat bench, which I still prefer for flat movements. So if you're looking for only one bench, maybe an offering from Rogue makes more sense but for my gym application I couldn't be happier with the Shorty.

The GOAT bench. Great adjustability and the removable headrest makes this perfect for a lot of movements that would otherwise be less than ideal. Multiple attachments for the bench as well, such as the preacher curl attachment.

The reason to buy this bench is because you want to get a bunch of the attachments. The ecosystem for what you can do is second to none. If you just want a stand alone bench, there are other really nice benches for less money. If you want to invest in the ecosystem, add up the costs to really make sure that’s where you want to go.

I think the bench is insanely well thought out. The attachment ecosystem combined with the ability to shorten the bench makes the decline position much easier to get into. However, if you get the bench, the attachments that enable it to stand, and the decline attachment, you’re paying more than the most expensive FID benches that most large, even US companies offer. For that price you’d expect perfection, but the pads on my bench do not align well at all and there was a massive ding in the bench from shipping. The rubber & plastic protector of the headrest post was also cracked on arrival. Prime will replace all these parts, but I’m still waiting on them and it’s annoying to pay a premium and then have to contact customer service, wait for parts, take apart the bench and put new parts on. Unacceptable quality control for the price paid.

Super versatile bench but with a big price tag. The bench attachment ecosystem makes it worthwhile if you want to invest in it but I can’t recommend it if it’s your only bench. Mine is permanently parked next to my Smart Arm to be used there.

I used a crandall fitness adjustable bench for a couple years and it was fine but nothing to write home about. I got this shorty bench after wanting a good solution to chest supported rows without putting my face in the bench. This has been a great addition to the gym and I use it every workout. I love the versatility and I use the preacher pad attachment often with the voltra as well. Code ROBO or code Mass5 will save you 5%.
