Everything darko makes is beautiful and durable and the shorty bar is not an exception. I use mine with d handles and mostly for seated rows and occasionally lay pulldowns. The main tradeoff with these is that depending on your d handles and carabiners it can add several additional inches of length which can possibly limit your rom. That extra length is good for landmine movements though.

the shorty bar is well-built to endure and not flex under load. the powdercoat is decent, nothing fancy. it is very versatile to use for cables and landmine work, with protection for your bar sleeve. i have a similar product that was considerably less but perhaps a bit less refined. it's expensive but gives you a plethora of options to add to your training. made in usa is a big plus.

When using this style of bar, loss of range of motion can be a concern. The curved path of the shorty bar shortens ROM a bit further if using one of the holes further out on the ends. Ultimately this can lead to too much loss of ROM for things like lat pull downs if your rack isn't tall enough. That aside, it is a high quality and versatile attachment.

I’ve used this bar for everything from lat pulldowns to t-bar rows to an overhead tricep extension attachment. Probably one of the most versatile attachments in my gym.

This is a consistent staple in my workouts. I got the black powder coat version, and it’s held up very well. I debated going with the Longy, for extra width, but I’m of an unremarkably average height, so the Shorty has been plenty. Plus, most handles sit a bit outside the last hole, so you get more width than you’d think. Can’t recommend it enough.

I think the Shorty bar is the most well done banana style or long connecter point clip that’s out there. I know they offer different versions like metal and stainless steel and it’s really cool. The post holes and attention to the detail make it really smooth when using other handles and caribeaners. It’s cool that can also be used on the landline as well. You don’t see that from a lot of other ones, so the additional functionality of a landline with able to connect D handles or other type of handles and various locations makes it really appealing for a cable machine and for landline and T- bars rows. Also feel like it has more functionality than something like the Kleva built atlas attachment and it’s easier to store. Plus you know if they’re selling it on roguefitness.com. It has to be awesome.

Solid bar, very versatile. Paired with the d grips to help with depth on bent over landmine rows and lat pulldown.

I got the stainless option so that it wouldn't show scratches with lots of carabiner use. I've had it for a year now and it looks brand new. It's very sturdy and a little on the heavy side, but that's because it's probably twice as thick as my previous cheap amazon version. The quality of construction could not be any better and he even hand delivered it to me at HomeGymcon 25.

I used to use this for tbar rows, chest supported rows, etc. Unfortunately it has fallen out of my rotation of commonly used attachments, but it remains versatile and I will keep it for now.
