For anyone in the Tampa/St. Pete area, the Valor Fitness Urethane Olympic Plates are a great deal for high‑quality urethane. Steel plates are still the better value on price alone, but Florida humidity makes rust almost unavoidable in a garage gym. I love the classic clang of steel, but these urethane plates have held up extremely well and ended up being a smart upgrade despite the higher cost.
