I definitely prefer the round calf blocks compared to square, having now tried both. My only complaint besides price is it’s a bit short, I have to put plates under it to get full range. Maybe I have super flexible ankles? 😂🤷

The Oak Club Mini-Wessey is extremely well-built and looks fantastic in person. The craftsmanship and materials definitely feel premium, and it adds a very clean aesthetic to the gym. That said, the pricing has become hard to justify, especially with the tariff increases driving the cost up even further. Great product overall, but the value proposition is much tougher at the current price point. If you have the budget and want a nice, niche product, then this is it.

I like this piece quite a bit. I prefer the rounded option over square because any grip on a square tube will get worn down faster over time. This has been great to use with an SSB. The only improvement I'd suggest is making it about a 3/4-inch taller. I have larger feet, and my heels touch the ground when I have a lot of weight on my back. I typically prop it up with 10 lb plates, which is perfect. Four stars for value, because, do you really need to spend this much on a calf block? No, but it does its job well.

Great for the calves and my flat feet like the roundness. I also use it as a step for the pull up bar and dip bars. Typical Oak Club quality. I like.

Wasn't a fan of how long this is or how the rounded tube felt on my feet. Would prefer the square version and something a bit more portable.

Works great, high quality and definitely very expensive. Heavy and awkward to move around but that comes with being overbuilt. Not really an option for storage but it's fine on the floor.

Works great as a calf pipe. Had one for a bit, but found it heavy/annoying to move and store.
