These plates fly under the radar but are really excellent. They're extremely nice to grip and easy to load/unload. Their shape allows them to strike a really nice balance between being stable when you want them to be (e.g., decline pushups on a loadable dumbbell), but also easy to roll around when gently pushed. While I don't routinely drop my plates, they've been dropped plenty of times and have held up well and the rubber coating has proved to be durable over time.
