I recently added this to my gym. I bought this on marketplace from a commercial gym for a 6th of the price. It’s built like a tank and moves like butter. Mine has a 210lb weight stack. This fits perfectly in my basement gym. I would definitely recommend buying this if you want to get strong.
Good build quality but I think there is a lot of wasted space with no extra plate storage. The foot plate could also be a bit wider than it is. Has a 1,000lb capacity and moves smoothly. As a York Barbell fan this was a great addition to my gym
Are they practical? Not really. Are they cool to have? Absolutely. The weight is very accurate for the time period. I found a waxed pair of Jackson’s on marketplace and couldn’t afford not to add it to my growing globe collection.
These bad girls are sweet looking. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have them and actually use the adjustments. It’s more of a headache to add and remove the weight. If you’re a collector definitely add them to the your gym.
Pretty cool well built American deep dish plates. When they clang together the sound reminds me of a bell at the end of a boxing match. Good for hub lifting.
