It does what I need it to do. It’s the right firmness for my IT band, which is the primary reason I bought it. I’ve had it for 5-10 years and it only has some minor wear on the ends.

I have the 120lb version. The filling funnel is well made, but the Velcro on the roll top closure does not seem as robust as other bags. Overall, it’s on par with other Amazon sandbags. I’ve had no failures yet, but time will tell.

Adding 2 layers of 1/4 matting really helped deaden the dropped weight. It works for log, sandbag and keg fairly well so far. It also helps prevent the log from rolling off, or the tires tipping up on one end when using log, which happened a lot when I was using tires alone.

An inexpensive, versatile piece of strongman equipment. Filling with sand can be a long, slow process but it’s worth it. If you let your sand dry, the process is MUCH easier. Use a rubber fernco cap, not the clean out caps with the wingnut. The wingnuts will tear up your forearms. Mine is nearly filled with a combo of multi-use gravel and play sand and it’s 175lbs.

I don’t have any complaints. They are well built, look nice and hold my weights. Come with hardware for various upright sizes.
