I bought a Treadsled off of Facebook market place for $300.00. I also made a sled out of an old tire, so the neighbors don't get too mad when I drag it outside.

I’m not very handy, but I saw a block system belt squat on Design Build Lift’s channel. It reminded me of what the Russians and Louie Simmons did before the machine was even built. I was able to make it without too much difficulty, and I used it for over a year before I bought the SquatMax MD. I will still use it now and then; the blocks can be used for a ton of stuff. The stack took up almost no space, was very easy to set up, and if you have a rack, you can grab the uprights instead of the dolly. Home Gym Hacks and Reviews does something similar with his belt-squat setup.

I was inspired by watching Tom Havikand do thiabon a 2x6. I bought a 6-foot-long 2x10 board, 2 sawhorses rated at 500lb, a cheap yoga mat, and about 5 rolls of electric tape. It works great. And I can set it up in my rack to unrack the bar at various heights. I can also lay the board on some safeties to do chest-supported rows. Cost me around $60.00
