Kentucky basement gym dweller. Massenomics certified training facility — 1st round. Second coolest Brandon in a basement, by far. The gym began in 2018 with the understanding of his wife that it would be a simple 4-post power rack, a barbell, flat bench, and a few hundred pounds of weight. That soon changed to searching Marketplace and buying equipment to make the best tiny strength facility he could afford. In the beginning, he would buy whatever budget item he could to get the job done. He always strives to favor the movement over equipment. He’s now at the stage where space is very limited and he’s upgrading things one piece at a time.

These showed up in awesome shape. I bought some smaller increments of change plates. These came in one large box with each plate bagged separately and wrapped in their own paper. They are in perfect shape. I got them on a deal so for me they were a good value.

I recently have acquired a decent amount of these plates (thanks Hogan and Nicole) from Rogues garage sale. I would not have pursued these at full price. Mine are used and a little beat up but I don’t mind that look. The paint on these easily comes off. They can be a pain to move around especially compared to a plate with a larger lip. I think if you do powerlifting specific training they are cool to have. Not a necessity for anyone by any means but I think they are cool. I still prefer using my strength co plates as far as the user experience goes.

These collars serve their specific purpose. They are high quality and should last forever. They are not quick or as user friendly as most collars out there today. They hold the weights super tight and are good to have if you have a KG set

I had these pound change plates and they worked well. Durable and well made. I also had a set from “Everymate” on Amazon that were similar quality. So I would recommend those over the rogue for that reason as they were much cheaper

Honestly, I really like using the basic hex style dumbbells. They feel pretty good in the hand. They do have a tendency to bend if dropped, especially heavy ones. They aren’t super accurate but they work.
