I was out at an antique shop and saw the York logo popping out from behind some trash. After channeling my inner Trash 6, I started to secure the trash to get to this dumbbell. Now, I have a full set of dumbbells at home but once i see "York" at a random shop, it's coming home with me. This is an awesome piece to have but it won't be a daily driver but from what I can tell, this dumbbell feels like going back to the beginning. The spin lock collar is a good idea in theory, but in practice, it will back out about half to a three quarter thread so expect some wobbling. Otherwise, it just looks awesome. Trash 6 out.

I love these things. I picked these up at a local sporting goods store on a whim but I'm glad I did. My only gripe with these is that though they work just fine, I can see someone gaming the movement since the opening of these grips leaves a good amount of space to stick your four fingers in once it's on a dumbbell. Other than that, these are great.

I didn't realize how excited I would be for shelves. Did I need them? Nah, not really but since I got them, I surprisingly freed up a lot of space. I got two shelves and I have my kettlebells on them that were previously on my Rogue Universal Storage. Since that was now empty, I tossed my lighter dumbbells on that shelf and was able to get rid of a dumbbell rack. The shelves look awesome and does what its intended purpose is for. My only gripe is the included hardware. The included bolts leave about a turn and a half when you get them in through your rack and then through the shelves. I wasn't comfortable using the included hardware so thankfully, I had some bolts laying around the shop and used those instead.

It works as intended. Set up can be a bit tedious being that I don't have an extra set of plates to mount this onto. My personal set up is mounting these a 45 pound bumper plus a 25 pound bumper. Otherwise, there's nothing special about this landmine.

Yeah, it sucks. The i will give some credit to the build quality but not too much because, again, this thing sucks. However, if you're looking to not spend a bunch of your hard earned money to store your plates and two barbells, maybe consider this one, but there are definitely far better options at around the same price point. I ended up giving this to my neighbor who was starting out his own home gym.
