I've been a medical doctor for 5 years, and I am currently halfway through my ph.d. in Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine. To be able to combine careers, family and training, I convinced my wife to let me start buying equipment in 2018 before we had even bought our first house. Along the way I've had a basement gym and a spare bedroom gym. But in 2023 I finished the construction of an insulated outhouse, where I now have my dream home gym. In my spare time, I coach classes for adults in functional fitness/strength and conditioning. Besides that I run homegymvaulteurope.com, where I am building out a library for everything home gym related with a focus on Europe. The website and Instagram page has reviews, DIY, discount codes, helpful tables and more.
