Building a tiny home gym in my WFH office. It’s very much still a work in progress.

I love these low profile wedges for heavy belt squats. Easy to store and move around compared to something like my Prime 1 piece squat wedge. They give me just enough heel elevation to not need to wear my lifting shoes. They also match my wessey calf block!

I almost got a getrxd viper, but wound up cancelling the order and getting a Voltra, then a second soon after the first. With my tiny 80 square foot space, I’m super glad I didn’t get physical cable machine and went with digital! So far they have given me exactly what I wanted, a low foot print functional trainer with the only limit being creativity. Am I worried they will break? Yes. Who knows how long they will last. The cable material is definitely showing some wear and electronics break, right? Hopefully, with a little upkeep, they will last me a decade or more. I do plan on getting a plate loaded cable backup at some point like the dialed motion side winder, but just out of paranoia:) I gave it three stars in value because 5000$ for the units, plus another 1000$ on various mounts, make this the most expensive part of my gym. In my case, money was easier to come by than space! I don’t regret this purchase and definitely recommend if you are space constrained. If I had more room, I’d have gone with physical cables first, then maybe added a single Voltra later, just for fun.

I’ve had the 6 post version for about a month, still waiting on the smith, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. With my injuries I wanted a smith option to play around with. It’s a tank, finish is great, got most of my plates and barbells stored on it and was able to create some extra needed floor space. I have it set up so that I can free squat inside the rack with custom length Bremmy spotters, or at least that is the plan. The smith will go right behind the front uprights, the front uprights will be used for dual voltras and other attachments. No regrets, I’m super happy with this! I got a red one to match my black and red theme. My ownly minor complaint is REP red isn’t super. I prefer Rogue red but they didn’t have a smith option.

I bought this by recommendation when needing a 45 degree hyper. At the time I was looking for a bargain and this fit the bill. Does it get the job done? Yes, I use it twice a week on back days. So I don’t regret the purchase. I’ve not used it for Nordics but I plan to. The issues: Stability, it wobbles no matter how I adjust it. Folding and moving around, it is supposed to stay folded using magnets and let’s just say it needs a stronger latching mechanism for this. I will likely replace it in the next few years, but it’s not a horrible choice if money is an issue. I just wouldn’t use it for heavily loaded back extensions.

I’m made a few expensive mistakes along the way while building my home gym. Getting this bench was not one of them! Great for flat or incline benching, dumbbell or barbell. The leg roller 2.0 attachment gives you decline sit ups as well as decline pressing if you desire. Easy to move around, and stands up out of the way. I even went so far as to get an extra backup set of replacement pads for it since cat damage is inevitable! 🤣
