The U-pick started in BC as a squat rack in a spare room in 2014ish. After its first move (to Ontario) it took shape in a powered and heated shed. Known as the Squatatorium at the time it was humble and cold AF in the winter. In 2022 it moved back west to BC where it sits in its current location. The original rack is long gone and it has become more focused on strongman. In 2026 it is undergoing a major renovation.
