Work very well, at times they are a bit hard to lock in, as they can slip a bit, but once they bite, they hold perfectly.

I love the squat max as a belt squat, and I purchased this kit specifically to use as a hip thrust. It certainly works, but it is very awkward, for the price I would not recommend.
