Precor is the quintessential standard of ellipticals. The EFX motion with the cross ramp is the most natural on the market. Build quality is excellent but the user interface could have been improved even on this older model. And the brown/beige/gray color scheme was definitely a choice.

Build quality is a bit questionable in a couple of spots. The casters are extremely overbuilt as they are industrial grade. On flat hard surfaces they roll easily but on rubber flooring they tend to hang up. The junction of the upright and base is reinforced with t-plates on either side but once the tree is loaded with plates it tends to sway and shift. However the price is right and the six integrated barbell holders are extremely convenient. It will even hold a trap bar with 45lb plates loaded.

An older residential multigym setup. 150lb stack with an optional 50lb add on and a leg press/ab option. Build quality is as expected with a 90s era gym and that’s not a bad thing. Chest press/row is well constructed, chest fly is ok with limited range, low pulley and lat pulldown are well done. Leg extension/leg curl isn’t great with the curl being a standing only setup. Leg press add on is usable but the ergonomics aren’t the greatest. Bottom line if you can get this unit for sub-$500 then it’s a decent buy for an all in one setup.

It will allow you to do dips however it does have its drawbacks. The handles in my opinion are obnoxiously large and the knurling isn’t great or consistent. The handles are removable but I wouldn’t utilize them with anything other than the dip attachment.

They hold my plates without issue. The power coating on the shaft protects the plate hubs and has a rubber spacer to keep them away from the mount bolts.

J-cups with UHMW lining and substantial build quality. Are they the best or the prettiest? Absolutely not but for a budget option while you’re purchasing your new rack they’re a good starting point.

If you’re only using these spotters for their intended use then they do the job. However if you try to utilize the 1” holes along the length for things like lat pulldown leg holders then you’ll quickly realize the issues with these. There needs to be a place for a mag pin on the backside to keep them from rotating.

Carabiners don’t need to be fancy or expensive. Available from Amazon in stainless steel with multiple sizes. Great quality for the price.
