This is a solid and often affordable power bar! Looks cool, too. Comparable to the rep single black diamond, good all around bar. I prefer the REP bars but this is fun to use and my son prefers it. Fringe sport makes awesome stuff!

Bought this because I wanted a power bar to complement my Rogue Ohio Bar. A cool-looking barbell in the black and gold color scheme, and the tolerances seem great and are definitely a step up from the Ohio Bar, most noticeable in the duller thud it makes when hitting the floor. However, I don't like the knurl on the bar I got. The cerakote finish is the only option available, and on my bar it feels filled in and isn't grippy at all. My initial plan was to use this as my main bar and relegate the Ohio Bar to secondary duty, but it ended up the other way around.

Here’s a tighter, cleaner version that keeps your voice but reads more polished:
You either love the Fringe Midas Gold bar or you don’t…I love it. The gold sleeves spin smoothly, have held up great, and still look brand new. The knurling is moderately aggressive, which is perfect for me. The Midas Rackable Curl Bar, however, is noticeably more aggressive. The Midas’ end cap game is one fire!
At $365, it’s priced the same as the revered Rogue Ohio Bar. Because of that, I’d recommend keeping an eye out for sales if you’ve got your heart set on this bad boy.
