It is hard for me to compare this in any way, seeing as its the only bar I own, I don't really enjoy squatting so the lack of a center knurling doesn't bother me at all. It seems to work well for bench and deadlift, and I have no regrets picking it as the single bar (for now) in the gym

The modern classic power bar. If I had to blindly recommend one power bar, this would be it.

A quality bar with excellent knurling that sits comfortably above the e-coat version, which showed scratches far too easily. It doesn't quite match the feel of a stainless bar, but for the price difference it's a very capable daily trainer.

I have had mine since before I’ve owned a home gym (about 7-8 years). I live in humid Florida and my bar has stood the test of time (never been in climate control). Knurling is still grippy. Is my go to every day bar for power lifting movements.

Great bar, great quality, only complaint is the smaller sleeves on the 20kg IPF approved version make unracks harder if you don't have a great walk out. Smaller collars do limit the whip of the bar as well with max loads

The zinc dulls the knurling a bit. I have a stainless one too and you can definitely tell. I use this one for squats and bench and the stainless for deadlifts. Why? Cause I do ok.
