3-in-1 Bench Press Shoulder Press Machine V7

3-in-1 Bench Press Shoulder Press Machine V7

Designed with a biomechanically and ergonomically optimized scissor-like motion, this machine mimics the natural arc of a dumbbell press while providing enhanced safety. Its curved trajectory allows for greater arm convergence, intensifies chest contractions, and activates inner chest fibers for superior muscle stimulation compared to traditional chest presses.

I have had this machine for a year now. The more I have it, the more I like it. I have had to do a few mods to get it right and there are some issues with it, but overall for the price its excellent for flat, incline, and OHP. The good: Super easy to set up. My wife/kids can jump right on. Lots of angles to choose from. It feels like a smith machine for dumbbells, which I love as I have a unstable shoulder. Movement feels good. For a $500 machine, its worth. The bad: This is not designed for heavy weights. Arms limit says 150lbs each but honestly I could see them bending at that weight. It almost wants to bend with 1 plate on. I also wish you could adjust the handles forward/back and left/right. You can do neither and the V8 does not solve that problem and the bench of the v8 wobbles like crazy under load. No way would I pay $1000 for the v8. Just get used commercial at that point. Mods I have to do: I added a 2x4 piece of wood, maybe 4" long with a 1" hole cut out on the stoppers where the arms go. This allows the handles to be about 1" more in and allows a better curve for all movements. The machine is significantly better with this mod.

There's a lot to like about this product from GMWD. The converging handles is probably the biggest feature that differentiates this from competitors on the market. The adjustable bench is a bit finicky at times. The quality of the padding itself is excellent. My biggest complaint is the "wiggle" when initiating the lift. When you apply pressure the product has about an inch of "give" before the lift starts in earnest. Overall its a sturdy and well built machine but it's limited by the biggest feature (the converging arms). There's no way to do unilateral presses. The arms move in unison. Also, it's a total pain to set up. The pneumatic lift in the back that assists with raising and lowering the weights is very frustrating to assemble and the directions aren't crystal clear. The price point is good, but I've come to ask myself the utility of this versus something like a powertec or similar product with an adjustable bench. Sure it will cost more, but you'll likely already have an adjustable bench for your home gym. At that point you're only looking to buy a lever gym. Some of the cheaper units can run for $300-$400 and offer low row and lat pulldowns as well. I think this is better than other similar dedicated press machines and certainly has some nice finish. Out of all the movements, the incline press is the most ideal. I think this product does a great job at providing a deep stretch, but given how limited it is compared to other products on the market, I think it's a luxury, not a necessity.

This 3-1 chest and Shoulder machine is definitely a sleeper pick for adding variety to your home gym. My 15 year old son can safely lift with this piece. I’d say it’s well worth the money for doing all 3 movements above average with plenty of bench angle adjustment as well as hand and grip positions. Also the hydraulic height adjustment with engraved numbers is amazing for quickly setting up the desired ROM. Build quality is just okay for arms and horns but it’s also what keeps the price point affordable. The bench itself has comfortable padding and the range of adjustment from flat to 90 degree works well and is easy to slide with a pop pin for security. Felt weight is excellent and convergence makes this machine give a great stretch throughout each rep. Start weight unloaded is 15.5 lbs per arm. Although the footprint for the machine is wide I think anytime you can get a piece of equipment that fills more than 2 movements well makes it a great choice for any home gym.

Great piece for chest day. Takes up some foot print but can do so much. I use it for every chest and shoulder exercise.
