AB-3100 Adjustable Weight Bench

AB-3100 Adjustable Weight Bench

The AB-3100 is REP’s most affordable adjustable bench, while still featuring six back pad adjustments (from flat to 90 degrees) and three seat angle options (from flat to 20 degrees). The AB-3100 is a heavy-duty, flat-incline bench (no decline position) with a three-post design, so the legs of the bench won’t get in the way of your feet while pressing. Easily and securely switch angles with the ladder adjustment design. For extra stability, the AB-3100 features grooved, rubber, grippy feet on all three contact points, plus a vertical tube for added support under heavy loads (weight capacity: 700lbs). The pads are covered with a non-slip, textured vinyl that holds lifters in position and is easy to clean. The seat pad slightly tapers for comfort, with a small 1.75” gap between the back and seat pads. The AB-3100 comes in four colors: metallic black, red, blue, and matte black.

If I am comparing this to the Amazon special bolt together, this bench is unbeatable. If I am comparing it to the basic Titan flat bench, this is definitely better. Hard to beat the price for a much more than decent bench. It will want to shift a tiny bit side to side with a decent amount of weight, with some of the minimal slop. I think that comes with a simple ladder system of the incline. It’s a good starter bench that you may never need to upgrade. You can kind of store it standing up if you lean the bench pad to the wall side.

Probably the best entry level adjustable bench money can buy. It's lightweight and easy to move around, but it is also sturdy enough to feel secure during heavy lifts. On top of that, the upholstery is grippy and durable, and the padding is firm and comfortable, combining to create a premium feel. Though there isn't a built-in stand to stow it in an upright position, I've found a inexpensive 3D-printed attachment on etsy that works just fine. Overall, I've put this thing through its paces and I see no reason to replace it. It's not going to turn any heads, but it gets the job done at a low cost.

Lightweight and easy to move. Doesn’t store upright, which can be a downside depending on your space. I didn’t like the oval-shaped pad, especially for benching. Other than that, it’s a good budget-ish bench, although I think there are much better options now at a similar price point. I ended up selling this and my FB-5000 and upgraded to the AB-5200

This is a nice solid bench. I had an AB5200 Bench which I sold because it was cumbersome to move around. I am getting older and I wanted something a bit lighter, so I chose this one. It is a high-quality bench. The padding is very nice and the covering is grippy enough. I am a larger person, and I fit well on the bench and it feels very stable. There is a "gap" but it does not seem to affect much. I recommend this bench if you are looking for a solid bench that is easy to move and looks great. Let me add....I am not knocking the AB5200. It is a great bench too. I might consider the RitFit Gator if I were doing it again.

Good for the price but after using a nighthawk I dont think ill be keeping it much longer. The pads are good, rep build quality, and its light weight but thats about it. You get what you pay for.

I think there are much better options for the price now, but at the time of purchasing it was a decent mid range option.

Good for the price, but if I had to make a purchasing decision again I would just buy a slightly more expensive bench.

I bought this used and the price couldn't be passed up once you went pen to paper. The grip on the bench is wonderful. The issues with it are it is somewhat wobbly on the main post at heavier weight, the rubber stoppers always fall off, and a few times I've had the adjustable height knob slip while lifting (nothing broke but somehow slipped). Quality bench but would splurge to have the model with rails to keep the adjuster in place.
