While the back rest is adjustable, it could be improved by having it decline as well. One of the best units that does not have a declining back bad.

Used this on vacation recently and the entire gym was Atlantis equipment. I've used many different brands of these adductor/abductor machines as a powerlifter, and this one kinda missed the mark. Due to people having different leg lengths, I dont think the bottom seat pad was long enough. When I put my legs into position on the bottom part and then adjusted the seat back to have a proper angle, it felt like I was barely sitting on the seat. Not the best machine for them, but not the worst and it still got the job done
