The American Press Bar was designed specifically for the bench press (as opposed to the Multi-Grip Swiss Bar which caters to the log press). Therefore, the handles are not as long to provide wrist stability needed for log presses. The variety of parallel and angled grips makes this a great bar for benching, overhead pressing, triceps extensions, rowing, hammer curls, and more. Unlike most bars, the grip varies from handle to handle—the outer handles are thinner and the inner ones get progressively thicker. These three neutral grips are based on the most popular grips used in the bench press

She's a beaut. Well made and sturdy. I also wish that there was some knurling on the handles, but you can always throw some athletic tape on there. Used to have the Titan copy, but upgraded to this a few years back. The welds are an improvement as is the paint that Elite uses.

Solid bar and does what it is supposed to do. Only complaint is I wish the handles were 29mm thick and had knurling. Trying to keep a straight wrist with a smooth thick bar gets sketchy at decent weights

Biased Alert - I like Dave and EliteFTS, so I like supporting the company and their products. That being said, we've had this bar in the rotation at Massenomics gym for the better part of a decade. Works just like it should if you're after a multi-grip bar. You can probably finder cheaper budget ones that do pretty much the same thing for a little less $. The finish on this will wear off over time, particularly on the sleeves.
