This axle is a fantastic piece. The quality is second to none. It is great for grip training, deadlift, bench, overhead, etc. It gets used relentlessly in my gym and is one of our favorites. It gets used more than some of the best bars in the gym.

Iron Mind makes some of the best grip implements in the game and this bar is super popular (and expensive). No knurling on this one and no powder either, which makes it very hard to handle.

Not that I've ever pulled enough on an axle bar to worry about bending it, but this one definitely will not bend. I don't compete in strongman and use them more as a training tool, but this bar was the best I've used to date

The goat of axle bars, This isn't going to ever bend like the cheaper alternative, has a center ring and Olympic marks for reference, thicker then the genetic axles, only complaint is it comes bare steel so if you are in a humid climate expect some maintenance like any bare steel bars. Oh and it uses normal collars so that's nice

IronMind equipment is amazing and the Apollon's Axle is no exception. I purchased it for use in Grip Sport Competition and find the surface texture to be more challenging than generic powder coated or bare steel axle bars. I gave it a 3 stars for value only because of the high retail price point.
