This is one of the toughest grip tools I’ve used. The hub-style grip forces you to pinch and hold in a way that’s very different from handles or bars. I use it for holds and short pulls, and it doesn’t take much weight before it gets challenging. If you’re looking to build real thumb and pinch strength, this is a great one to add.

I purchase 20mm and 30mm hub trainers from Arm Assassin and I've found them to be quite challenging and fun to use after pretty much any workout. The particular part of the grip that's worked with these is something not challenged in a regular workout, so my hands always feel ready to grab these. The 20mm is probably twice as difficult as the 30mm.

It's a hub. There really isn't much else to say about it. It's pretty hard to mess up something this basic. I do wish AASS mentioned on their site the correct size for hub lifting 45 lb plates. I had to guess and I was wrong, so mine is a bit smaller.

Excellent budget option vs the more expensive versions from other companies. Also available in multiple sizes.
