Arm Assassin Thumb Blaster

I have the 1-5/8" and have only been using it to train for King Kong. It is a well made implement and takes chalk well. It is very consistent with other Arm Assassin Strength Shop products. Well made and a good value.

Considerably more comfortable and versatile than other pinch grip implements but none the less challenging. The paint is grippy and chalks well but it chips and flakes off easily, too.

This one really targets the thumbs in a way most grip tools don’t. It feels awkward at first, but once you get used to it, you can tell it’s hitting a weak point. I use it for short sets and holds since the thumbs fatigue pretty fast. Good tool if you want to build more complete grip strength instead of just relying on fingers.

This is SOOOO challenging. I have the 1 5/8" option and it works my fingers harder than any other attachment I own. I don't look forward to using this because it's so difficult, but I guess that's what makes it so good. The powdercoat is great and adheres well to chalk. I don't worry about the connection point as others have noted, probably because I'm not pushing a lot of weight with this.

I bought it for a comp and I honestly haven't used it much since. It's well made and I'm not going to get rid of it (I'm sure I'll be using it again). Would also like to see a more robust connection, but it's also easy to replace if it breaks.

Like everything in grip sport, this is deceptively more difficult than it looks. Luke makes awesome products and this is no exception.

Certainly a niche item, but this implement targets thumb and finger strength in one fell swoop. Very challenging. Would have preferred to see a more robust connection point for a carabiner.
