Not a fan of these since the new zipper / Velcro design came out, not really feasible to change the load. Issues with leaking, and just look ugly honestly

I’m not a fan of this style of sand bag and these are no exception. They’re way more floppy and the extra material at the top is annoying.

Was gifted one by a buddy of mine and it’s been a pain to not have it explode everywhere…there newer designs are much better

No easy way to fill them and not be loose. So you’re going to end up with a floppy bag, and likely need to duct tape the end. Recommend to buy the modern style with a zipper and Velcro. However if you end up in a comp using this style, it’d be useful to have trained it since it’ll feel very different.

It’s very hard to fill it to the desired weight and make sure there isn’t any movement in the bag. The bag on the outside is pretty much just a cover for a plastic bag on the inside with a zip tie on it. Haven’t been able to rip it though

These are fine sandbags. Old school Ironmind design. Bags with liners like this are more prone breaking in my experience, and are packed much more loosely than the dual ply bags.
Better off spending an extra $20 or $40 to get the dual ply bags.
