My wife and my first foray into fitness started with taking spin classes at CycleBar. Memberships were expensive so we figured it would be cheaper to buy a bike for at home. Our local Amazon return box store had one of these new in box for $150 so we snatched it up. After replacing the pedals with a pair of SPD-compatible pedals we were able to capture experience at home.
The build is acceptable but little things like how the handlebars come loose and wobbly over time remind you that it’s DEFINITELY not a Stages bike. It’s also not a terribly heavy bike so sometimes if you’re riding in a standing position the bike does feel quite sturdy.
The bike uses magnetic resistance which takes some getting used to, even at high resistance it still has some glide to it.
This is a great bike for home cardio but it is no replacement for the types of bikes a proper cycling studio would have.

Echelon Connect Sport-S Indoor Cycling Exercise Bike is a great option for cardio. The bike is great other than i had to by a larger seat. The subscription is also pretty pricey at $40 a month. Other than that it is pretty good.
