Farmers Walk

Farmers Walk

Our quality, American-made Farmers Walk handles prove the limitless potential of a simple design + a simple movement. As a workout, the farmer’s carry takes weight training back to barnyard basics, but it’s become increasingly popular among modern strength athletes, not just as an efficient way to build forearm and grip strength, but for its full body, muscle building benefits—from the glutes, quads and calves to the upper back, shoulders, and core. The prolonged muscle tension created simply by walking with heavy weights in each arm, in proper posture, helps develop greater endurance and GPP for all types of athletic disciples.

I've had these forever and I've abused them for a while. They are holding up well. I gave them 4 stars for each category because I don't think they are very necessary since it is a relatively easy exercise to replicate with a trap bar/dumbbells. The value is okay and they aren't too big/heavy so they are easy enough to store and maneuver. One of my bigger complaints is that you need 4 specialty collars and 4 of each plate to add anything onto these evenly. Oh and suitcase carries are awesome so use these for those.

They're incredibly sturdy and have held up well after a good bit of consistent use. They can be a little annoying to load, especially when you're at the tail end of a workout, but I think that's a solid tradeoff from how much easier they are to store than top loaded carry handles. All around solid pieces and they fit under the bed/couch!

A pain to load and unload, if used outside it can damage the plates, when trying to set up the handles can fall / pivot around . Much prefer top loaded farmers

I guess I don’t see the complaint about loading these… they work just great for me. Typical Rogue quality… and price.

I'm going against the grain, but I think these are great. They are harder to load, but they store a lot easier than top-loading handles, too. I added storage for these so they sit between the two sides of plates on my plate tree. I have a set of hi-temp bumpers in the garage for outdoor work like this, so totally fine durability-wise. While these may not be the farmers handles you want for your gym, they're excellent at what they are.

I agree with Narrow Pavlov that front load farmers are a pain and make you not want to use them. It is difficult to load and unload and unless you don't care about the weight plates you're using, you also have to be careful when dropping/setting down the handles. These handles are of good quality and build for what they are. If I needed front load handles again, I would purchase these, but otherwise I would save up money and pay a little more for top load farmers carries elsewhere.

Front load farmers are something I do not recommend for people to use as they are annoying to load, making you want to avoid using them. However, these are well made. My biggest issue was that the handles can be a bit slick. I would just buy top load farmers.
