I really do enjoy using this. It is a bit of a pain to get my hands into the mitt but once I do, it burns real good. I rock climb and train grip often but I use this to increase the blood flow and warm up the hands. I feel like it makes my hands healthier especially after crimping hangboards. This is an expensive rice bucket but it is nice that I can bring it with me wherever I go. I'd recommend it especially for people with hands.

Nice to have something portable and contained. I will be getting the pro version for a few reasons. Cleaner (because pro uses thermoplastic pellets vs rice), and secondly I have no use for the balls, they can be annoying. This works well to get a good burn. I’ve noticed though that you need to keep the bag tightly “surrounded” by your thighs to provide proper resistance rather than just having this sit on top of your lap. There is some micro-dust that emanates from the bag with heavy use. I bring it in my car everywhere for when I’m in slow, heavy traffic or waiting to pick up my kids from practices.

Bought this for my dad for Christmas. Played with it some before I gave it to him. Got a good hand workout but the outside of the bag started to get dusty from the rice stuff inside.

Thought this was a gimmick that I fell for on instagram and you know what...they are kinda awesome. Has really helped improve my grip strength and has helped with my elbow rehab.
