These are great- putting these down was the biggest visual way that my basement transformed into an actual gym. They only have a very mild rubber smell and are very easy (comparatively) to install. You will definitely want lots of blades for your box cutter, but they are not too tough to cut compared to stall mats. And once you get the pieces interlocked, the seams are almost invisible.

I had some cheap 12’ tiles that looked horrible and shifted a lot. These not only stay put but they made my space look good. You cannot see the seams standing up. I’m glad I bought a few extra since I cut several up to make them fit around all the trim.

Upgraded from horse stall mats to these when I moved houses. I debated between 1/2” and 3/8” for a while, but decided on 3/8” since I’ll be deadlifting on a platform and using crash pads for olympic lifts. So I think these will be just fine. I went with blue and grey fleck and they sure do POP! It immediately made my gym look much nicer. My whyfe even commented on how good it looks. Installation was a piece of cake. The hardest part was moving my rack and other equipment around. It took me exactly 3 hours to install 60 tiles (about 240 sq ft) in my garage. Fortunately I didn’t need to make any odd cuts, so that sped up the process. I only needed to cut the edge and corner pieces. I went back over the tiles and pressed on the seams the next day- now they are hardly visible. There was a very slight odor when I opened the boxes, but that went away after a few hours. Recommend fresh razor blades, a straightedge, and rubber mallet for installation. The ordering process was easy and the shipping cost was surprisingly reasonable from North Carolina to California. Code MASS saved me a few dollhairs too!

LOVE this flooring! I actually installed it over Regupol rolled rubber flooring which had been installed over foam tiles (I know, I know...it was from like 2015 before I had any clue). The Regupol flooring is very good but it was just plain black so you saw EVERYTHING on it which I found to be extremely distracted. I opted for this with the blue and white/grey fleck and it really makes the gym look awesome and basically doubled the thickness of my gym flooring to 3/4". I did the installation myself. It was a TON of work to cut everything correctly around my bolted down rack, my one-post "rack" and my Lat Tower but I am really happy with how it turned out!

Upgraded from stall mats to these. Outside of shipping costs, it wasn't much more money than just doing a bunch of mats. The trade off here is the aesthetics of having flooring like this take your gym to the next level and it's nice not to deal with seams. The cons are the shipping as mentioned, but also at 3/8" thick I'd be more selective on drops vs the 3/4" stall mats I had.
