Fit and finish on these are great. When paired with the Pepin plates you get a pro dumbbell feel in a very nice compact package.

The original Pepin Dumbbells. These are an extremely high quality set of adjustable handles that use a screw to hold your plates on. Pepin makes two lengths of screw based on how many plates you need to fit.
The screw design is very sturdy, and you can lock it down tight, but it's pretty slow to adjust as you basically need to make a vertical stack of plates and drop the screw through the middle.
The two inch and one inch plate models only differ by having a plastic bushing to align the 2" plate onto the screw. If using more than two plates per side I find it helpful to use an additional spacer to keep the weights aligned.
