I had this when I used to own the Mammoth Belt Squat. As far as I’m concerned, this is a “must purchase” if you’re using the Mammoth. It’s easy to attach and the lever is easy to use to for flipping the kickstand down or up. The rubber piece on the bottom kept loosening and that was annoying, but it’s a good product otherwise.

The kickstand is a must for a lever belt squat. I wouldn't have bought one without it. One slight issue is that 20/25kg plates on the vertical weight horn can interfere with the handle, requiring a spacer plate or two. Or moving the weight horn closer to the pivot point, not ideal. Maybe a future version could improve on this.

The Mammoth does not feel complete without the kickstand. It allows you to start from the top of the movement, the same as you would when unracking a barbell. Further to that, because the kickstand is spring-loaded, it seemlessly tucks away and snaps into place with the flick of your wrist. Be sure to wait for one of Fringe's sales where they bundle the kickstand with the Mammoth for free.

My wife loves the kickstand added to her belt squat. It is very helpful to not have to start at bottom and do a squat to get started with your reps. She found the stand to be a little short and she is using a block of wood under it to give it just the right height which you can see under it in this picture. The block of wood came from amazon and is 4 inches by 4 inches.

If you are going to use the belt squat you need the kick stand. It enables you to get in position to begin the movement and adds a bit of safety. The kickstand works well and easily.

Absolutely necessary piece, if you are using the belt squat. Depending on how you place the weight, the handle is blocked. So be aware of that. But otherwise, buy this with the belt squat right away.

An absolute must if you have the Fringe Sport Mammoth belt squat. It makes it so you don't have to start at the bottom of the movement and can start standing up. If you get too low and the belt quat hits the ground it will occasionally flip itself down so you have to reset it which can be annoying. Overall it worked very well and once you dial in the positioning it's a great add on. Best bet is to buy it as a bundle with the dual weight horns as well.

A 100% Must have for the Fringe Sport Mammoth Belt Squat. You will usually find it bundled with the unit so it's almost always thrown in but please do yourself a favor and confirm that you are getting it because it really is a must have.

If you're going to get the fringe mammoth belt squat you have to get the kick stand. Makes getting belted in and started much easier. You can snag it for free with their sales occasionally.
