LB Economy Black Bumper Plates

To be honest, I don't even remember why I ordered these, but I only have 10 pounders. They do the job and are sized with the rest of my bumpers so work just fine.

Good for the price. Our 45lbs held up well starting to fall apart now 10 years later . Sold our 10-25lb as they weren't very strong and would bend a ton but maybe they have improved since then

Had these for many years and still holding up well. I’ve moved on to thinner bumpers to be able to load more but these have gone through a lot of deadlifts, always been in a garage, and still solid. Years later the smell is still there a bit but have to get reeeeeal close to know/tell.

Bought 6x45s on sale. Can’t beat the price/value proposition.

They do a good job for bumpers. I use them for my axle cleans and other such work when I don't want to risk my older, vintage iron. They slide easily on and off the bar, etc. Recommended.

For a budget bumper plate, there's not much to complain about. They look good, the metal hub allows them to slide on/off the sleeve easily, and they are just a couple millimeters larger in diameter than my cast iron 45s which means that if you load both versions, the bumpers should hit the ground first. I'm pretty sure Gluck did a very thorough review of all bumpers and their build quality, and how the hub was connected was the biggest differentiator between the plates. In a home gym, I'm not worried about long term durability, these should never fail. The one thing to be aware of is the 10s are very thin and prone to warping, especially if dropped. I would not recommend dropping a bar with only 10s, they are likely to deform.

Not much to say here other than based on price, availability, and function, these are a fantastic option for those looking for a higher end budget option when it comes to bumper plates. They are not as good as Rogue, but they are better than the Rep, Cap and Ethos equivalents IMO.
