I've had the for a couple of decades, and they are fine for rows and a few other things where the sleeves don't get it the way. I find them kind of cumbersome and use my adaptabells more now that I have them. But they are fine for the price. The chrome flakes easily and you have to tighten the nuts once in a while, if you care about that stuff.

Going to preface this with the fact that I've only used one other loadable dumbell and it was the gungnir. Plates load fine, knurling is ok. Handle/grip is way too narrow. I bought this for one purpose though, to throw a fat grip on there and mimick circus dumbell best I can. The handle is too narrow for a fat grip. It slides around which isn't safe. I fixed this by wrapping string around the handle then tape to thicken it up and now the day grip stays put. So all that said if you're looking at this for a specific purpose outside of normal dumbell use then have at it. If you're looking for a good dumbell this isn't it. Also the collars spin for some reason. Not really necessary unless you're training grip.

Much better option than the screw on/screw off standard adjustable dumbbells I have for quick and easy adjustments.

I picked up a single one of these so I could load it up for heavy rows (I wouldn't recommend any loadable dumbbells for benching as they will drive right into your quad when you have to rest them). It works.... but the build quality is about a cheap as you can get, no bushing so its just metal on metal with the shaft and sleeve. But at this price range you really can't expect much so it's decent.

These are not a high class piece of gym equipment… but they absolutely get the job done and for $30? Shiiiit even titan’s loadable dumbbells are $100. These will serve their purpose. I’ve had them for 7yrs and no issues. I want Pepins but hard to justify when I can do everything I need with these.

Nothing fancy, not the best feel of knurling, the cap ones I used to own were hex bolt end sleeves. Better options available.

Have been part of my gym for years but are more of a display item today. They worked well back in the day. The knitting is surprisingly good.
